Material Handler Responsibilities:
Read, comprehend, and follow English work instructions.
Use computer to navigate and load required files from server to production unit.
Install components on product.
Use a scan gun to scan barcodes.
Use scan gun to print labels then apply labels to corresponding unit.
Apply customer supplied labels to the production unit.
Use a tape gun to seal boxes.
Use utility knife to open boxes.
Other duties may be assigned.
Lifting is ¼ of total work hours, unboxing and re-boxing is ½ total hours, ¼ of total work hours are other non-lifting duties such as moving pallets from inbound to work areas, moving pallets from work area to outbound and idle time.
Knowledge & Experience:
Must have steel-toe shoes
Utility knife
Safety jacket will be provided on site
