Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking to hire legal assistants/case manager to work in our Pre-Litigation Department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is professional, self-motivated, a good team player and is willing to learn and grow with our company. Must have a professional attitude and appearance. You should be able to work independently but also be able to work well in a team.
Some responsibilities are:
Communicate via phone, fax, and email with clients, doctors' offices, auto insurance companies, health insurance companies as necessary.
Ability to work in different computer programs at once. (Word, Needles, Excel, PDF, Outlook, etc)
Send letters, faxes, and other correspondence as necessary.
Keep track of and organize case filing/documents.
Document the case file accurately.
Follow up and keep track of clients' medical treatment.
Request and review medical records and billing.
Ability to work for multiple attorneys at once.
Additional tasks as necessary.
Must have either experience with personal injury or experience requesting medical records and billing.
