We are looking for the right candidate with critical thinking abilities and excellent customer service skills to work in our small, friendly billing office here at Dominion Ambulance. Our Billing team describes the work environment as team oriented, supportive, positive and fun while balanced with the challenging specialty of ambulance billing.
Position Information:
Hours: 40 hrs./wk. Full time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm;
Starting Pay rate: Salary pay. Rate will be discussed upon interview.
Will train and after 90 day probationary period will train to become ambulance coder certified.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Contact insurance companies to verify coverage.
Submit claims to insurance companies, including ICD10 and procedure coding services;
Provide friendly and professional service to patients and vendors by phone and in writing;
Medical collections.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a similar position in a busy office (not required)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including word, excel and outlook and web based applications.
