Bridal Amelia Alvillar, located on 1718 N Zaragoza Rd., is looking for a Bridal Sales Consultant.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience: A High School diploma or GED, preferred bridal sales experience.

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under general supervision, sell bridal, quinceanera and evening wear dresses and accessories to clients with a strong emphasis on customer service and surpass the needs of each client. This position requires pleasant interaction with clients yet maintaining a focus on closing the sale.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

Assist client in finding the perfect gown by utilizing your knowledge on current fashion trends, fit and body types, and alteration requirements. Assist bridesmaids, mother of bride, etc. with their dress fittings. Measure clients and recommend which size to order based on their body measurements, fit of dress, and potential alteration requirements. Make recommendations about veil (for bride), shoes, jewelry and other accessories to complete client's outfit. Recommend dresses that stay within client's budget keeping in mind their desired style. Be familiar with the store's merchandise, including the variety of cuts and styles that clients can select from. Must preserve contact and construct long-term relationships based on reliance and uprightness. Make follow-up calls with clients to continue building strong relationship. Must be able to recognize the needs of a customer and must be able to offer solutions through the purchase of product.

All transactions must be conducted with a pleasant and helpful demeanor with all customers. Perform drawer counting and money balancing duties for loss prevention and accounting purposes. Enforce policies for merchandise returns and exchanges, and payment option regulation. Follow proper procedures for providing discounts on damaged merchandise, the return policy on regular and clearance items. In the event of an issue with a transaction, contact the appropriate shift supervisor.

Daily cleaning and organization of store. Store must look presentable at all times. Answer phone calls in a professional manner and respond to all questions accurately.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

-Application of good knowledge in bridal sales.

-Application of excellent communication, listening, and follow-up skills.

-Ability to close on a sale with client.

-Have passion for and a working knowledge on the latest trends in bridal/quinceañera fashion.

-Retail sales/customer service experience is required.

-Application of considerable knowledge of current promotional offers, sales, discounts, coupons, and any other short term events that affect sales.

-Make a positive impact on the brand value with every customer interaction.

-Greet customers, establish rapport, build positive relationships with clients.

-Maintain a positive attitude and a sincere desire to assist clients and exceed expectations.

-Work well under pressure and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

-Clear concise oral and written communications.

-Interpretation of oral and written instructions.

-Strong organizational skills.

-Self-motivated, self-directed.

OTHER JOB CHARACTERISTICS:

-Walk / stand for long periods of time.

-Bilingual is required.

-Must have a neat and clean appearance. All black attire is required. It is not permitted to wear: t-shirts, short skirts/dresses, sandals, or tennis shoes. You may wear flats or comfortable high heels.

-Must wear minimal make-up and maintain clean, manicured nails.
