Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and dispatch outbound loads efficiently.
Maintain clear and professional communication with drivers.
Understand load planning and logistics to optimize routes.
Provide excellent customer service and support.
Be detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and solving issues.
Work collaboratively within a team environment.
Remain alert and responsive to phone communications at all times.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a dispatcher (NO EXCEPTIONS).
Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with drivers.
Knowledge of load planning is mandatory.
Detail-oriented and able to take initiative.
Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a focus on teamwork.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Familiarity with ITS Dispatch and Samsara is a plus.
