WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR 2ND. SHIFT
Warehouse Supervisor coordinates an array of functions that might include accepting and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Warehouse is often fast-paced. All warehouse personnel are required to lift up to 50 pounds, walk or stand for most of the shift, and wear protective gear and steel-toed shoes. All warehouse workers operate forklifts.
A leader or supervisor needs to monitor the loading and unloading process and is in charge of all warehouse activities
Warehouse workers are responsible for receiving, storing and shipping merchandise kept in warehouses
Handlers have to load or unload merchandise while it is being received or when it is being shipped
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Completes reports by entering required information.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
Complete daily logs into inventory
Report any discrepancies
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
Operate forklift to load and unload pallets onto trailers
Direct drivers to correct dock door for delivery
Sign paperwork for shipping or delivery
