Trucking Dispatcher
Specific responsibilities of this position/Skills and Requirements
Assign, plan and dispatch owner and company drivers
Manage daily pick up and delivery schedules based on customer needs
Update shipment tracking and maintain timely data integrity
Multitask
Computer knowledge: Word, Excel, Outlook, Reports, Invoices, Data Entry, Mathematics,
Bilingual-English and Spanish 100%
Availability 24/7
Responsible and Punctual
Answer all incoming calls from drivers and customers
Route and Dispatch driver's
Ability to prioritize calls/ drivers
Manage load boards & DAT
Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Computer skills, proficient in MS Word and Excel, Dispatch software experience a plus
Must be able to interact well with others and work independently or in a team setting
Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
Knowledge on DAT & Loadboards
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 6am-2pm (office)
On call weekends
24/7 Phone answering
Experience
At least 3 year of dispatch experienced needed
Dependent of work experience/W-2
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26,000.00 - $28,000.00 per year
