The UX Researcher Will Be Responsible For The Following
Collaborate closely with inside BNSF's Experience Design team (researchers, designers, business relationship managers & design strategist) and across PM, engineering and business teams to identify, define and deliver meaningful user research forming the base for employee digital products
Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research roadmaps
Lead various research studies throughout all the phases of the product development cycle
Contribute to product strategy, execution and release/deployment plans using information collected across related project domains
The Ideal UX Researcher Should Possess The Following
3+ yrs of experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user experience research in a corporate environment, including concept-testing, usability, interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry/observations, ethnography, card-sorting and turning qualitative insights and observations into data that tells a compelling story
Experience with remote and in-person research.
Strong influencing skills with experience conveying research findings and implications to diverse audiences (incl. diverse functions, seniority)
Ability to deliver clear, concise & polished outputs in speech and writing
Analytical, project management, and problem-solving experience
Experience with autonomy and independent execution. Ability to see projects through
Ability to progress multiple projects at 1 time
Preferred Requirements
-Willingness to travel
Experience working in-house in an at-least a medium-sized company (10k employees)
Enthusiasm for and experience in working on internal tools and enterprise software
Working with field-facing operations/craft/union personnel
Strong presence, able to convey confidence while building trust
