This position is working on a multi-year project for a major healthcare client.Work you'll do/Responsibilities Must live near or willing to relocate to DallasHybrid work model. Able to commute to office 1-2 days a week as needed.You will determine processes and automation tools to reduce IT spend and increase efficiencies on multiple projects within the Healthcare domain.This position requires designing, coding, testing, and maintaining Informatica/BTEQ (Basic Teradata Query) scripts needed to support applications.This job requires expertise in building and managing Teradata/ Informatica/ Hadoop infrastructure On Premises and an understanding to migrate applications to Cloud.You will be participating in Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to ensure timely project delivery. Documenting technical specifications, architectural designs, and application configurations.You will implement security measures and best practices to ensure data protection and compliance. Troubleshooting and debugging issues in applications and infrastructure, and implementing effective resolutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions.The Team As a part of the US Strategy & Analytics Offering Portfolio, the AI & Data Engineering offering provides managed AI, Intelligent Automation, and Data DevOps services across the advise-implement-operate spectrum.Qualifications Required

12+ years' experience in data engineering, ETL development, and data integration using Informatica Power Center.

12+ years' experience in Teradata, including database design, SQL programming, and performance optimization.

10+ years' experience in writing BTEQ (Basic Teradata Query) scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading within Teradata.

7+ years' experience in SQL programming skills, including writing efficient and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.

10+ years consulting experience

5+ years healthcare industry experience

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data quality principles.

Experience in working with large data sets and handling complex data integration scenarios.

Cloud EcoSystem : Azure (Databricks, ADF, Synapse, ADLS Gen2), AWS (EC2, EMR, Lambda, Athena, Glue, Redshift and S3

BigData EcoSystem: HDFS, Pig, Hive, Oozie, Sqoop, Impala, Spark, Spark SQL, Dataframe and Dataset

Python, Scala, SQL, C, C, Java, and Shell Scripting

ETL Tools : Informatica, Teradata Utilities (BTEQ, Fastload, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPump, TPT), Golden Gate Replicats/File Adapters

Databases/DW : Snowflake, Teradata, SQL Server, Vertica, and Oracle

Reporting : Tableau and Business Objects

OS : Unix, Linux, and Window Variants

Streaming : Spark Streaming and Kafka

Tools : Erwin, Control-M, Tivoli scheduler, Oozie, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence GIT

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Must live near or willing to relocate to Dallas

Hybrid work model. Able to commute to office 1-2 days a week as needed.

Preferred

Familiarity with data profiling tools and techniques to assess data quality and identify data issues.

Knowledge of scheduling tools like Control-M or similar for job scheduling and monitoring.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues

Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

Analytical/ decision making responsibilities

Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products

Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

Excellent communication skills

Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
