Description We are in search of a Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee the HR function at our manufacturing site located in Grand Prairie, Texas. As the HR Manager, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing day-to-day HR activities and addressing critical employee relations issues, in addition to playing a vital role in fostering a positive, productive work environment.Responsibilities: Take charge of all HR activities at the site, including policy implementation, staffing, and performance management. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws. Oversee full-cycle payroll with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance for our workforce. Collaborate with operations to support a two-shift operation, providing HR presence during key moments. Drive culture initiatives to foster a collaborative and team-oriented work environment. Provide hands-on support in day-to-day HR operations. Coordinate with the leadership team to align on employee engagement, training, development, and retention strategies. Participate in employee town hall meetings and support team members across shifts. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a managerial position. Proven expertise in employee relations, compliance, and hiring processes. Strong knowledge and understanding of benefit functions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in using Paycom or similar HR administration software. Experience in a manufacturing environment, including familiarity with manufacturing engineering and processes. Demonstrated ability in managing HR administrative tasks within a manufacturing company. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus. Ability to interpret and apply knowledge of state and federal employment laws. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
