Brightspeed is looking for a Site Survey Engineer to join our growing team! The Site Survey Engineer is responsible for conducting detailed site assessments to support engineering and construction projects. This role involves collecting and analyzing data related to topography, infrastructure, building structure and utilities to ensure accurate planning and execution of projects. The engineer will collaborate with project managers, design teams, building owners or representatives and field personnel to deliver precise and actionable survey results.As Site Survey Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include:Performing on-site surveys using GPS, pictures, videos and other applicable equipment and applicationsInitiating and managing negotiations with building or private property stakeholders to secure entrance rightsCollecting and analyzing data to support design and construction planning, to include inbuilding details and facility entrancePreparing detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using CAD and or GIS softwareCoordinating with engineering and construction teams to ensure survey data aligns with project requirementsIdentifying potential site constraints and provide recommendations for mitigationEnsuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to land use and construction as well as NESC compliance on pole attachmentsMaintaining accurate records of survey data and project documentationAssisting in the development of site layouts and utility plans
