Weld Inspector - $28-$34/hr. – Hiring Immediately .Job Description
Perform visual welding inspection of poles and heavy structural steel assemblies.
Ensure compliance to specified detail drawings and AWS and AISC specifications.
Ensure weld machines are set up and operating correctly.
Monitor welding techniques of welders to ensure quality standards are met.
Familiarity with D1.1 code
3 – 5 years of experience in welding heavy steel assemblies, including inspection roles.
Ability to read and understand shop drawings, especially weld symbols.
