Key Responsibilities:
Enter financial data into accounting software with precision and efficiency.
Verify accuracy of data input by cross-referencing source documents.
Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of records.
Assist with data cleanup and reconciliation projects as needed.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding data confidentiality and security.
Communicate effectively with team members to address any discrepancies or issues in data entry.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve data entry processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in accounting or related field preferred.
Proven experience in data entry or a similar role, preferably in an accounting or finance environment.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
