We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Collection/Receivables Specialist at our 35 year old cleaning and supply company in Houston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable, resolving customer billing issues, and maintaining accurate records of all collection activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting timely collection calls and emails to customers with past due balances.
- Resolving billing discrepancies and disputes in a professional manner.
- Monitoring and maintaining accounts receivable aging reports.
- Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
