Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor delinquent loans, escalations, repossessions
Develop and implement strategic action plans to reduce past-due balances,
Supervise collection staff, set goals, conduct coaching & performance reviews
Collaborate with sales, credit, repossession, and legal departments
Ensure compliance with state/federal collection laws and regulations
Analyze portfolio trends, prepare reports for senior leadership (weekly cash collected / delinquency rate / charge off's / recency)
Required Qualifications / Must Haves
Minimum 3+ years of auto / loan / BHPH collections experience (senior experience role preferred)
Five Days a Week - (Saturdays a must)
Experience managing a collections team or leading high-delinquency portfolios
Strong negotiation skills, conflict resolution, and process orientation
Familiarity with collections software (Auto Action or a BHPH collection software)
Knowledge of repossession processes, legal frameworks, and consumer credit law
Excellent communication (written & verbal), analytics mindset
Preferred / Differentiators
Experience specifically in a BHPH dealership environment
Track record of improving KPI's or maintaining 15-20% monthly delinquency rate with 3% or less monthly charge off rate.
Experience with skip tracing, legal collections, skip tracing vendors
Experience with repossession coordination
