Small fleet trucking company Located in Houston Looking for OFFICE SECRETARY
Working Hours 08 AM to 5 Pm.
This position provides administrative and secretarial support for logistics operations. Duties will include typing, filing, scheduling, data entry, tracking of all shipments to completion, answering non-routine correspondence and assembling highly confidential and sensitive information. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answering phone calls
Provides information by answering questions and requests
Data entry in management systems
Able to communicate with carriers/customers in scheduling pickup and delivery appointments
Track all shipments from pickup to delivery
Ensure all bill of ladings, proof of deliveries, etc are processed with accurate information
Communicate with sales department regarding various orders
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed
Ensures all tasks are completed in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimal requirements for education, knowledge, and experience:
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
