Job description

Good Homes Wholesale is a wholesaler of home decor and furniture. We’re opening a new warehouse facility in Houston,TX to better serve our customers nationwide. We’ll be receiving loads of inventory to our new warehouse on a daily basis. We are currently seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Control Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.

The Warehouse/Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, and team leadership. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, security, and timely movement of stock, managing warehouse staff, and optimizing operational workflows. The successful candidate will bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency in stock management.

Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations personnel

Establish and monitor performance metrics for inventory accuracy, storage capacity utilization, and cost reduction.

Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel to achieve departmental goals and improve performance.

Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and meet production schedules.

Collaborate with the ERP manager for systems implementation and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Conduct regular inventory audits and analyses to identify variances and implement corrective actions.

Manage warehouse space optimization and layout planning to enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications:

Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse management or inventory control.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Experience with Shopify

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

8 hour shift (8AM-5PM)

Monday to Friday Saturday Shifts for the first 3 Months of hiring

$4,000/Month
