Job Description:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Debt Collectors. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts. Your goal will be to resolve payment issues while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
Responsibilities:
- Contact debtors via phone, email, or mail to collect payments.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement options.
- Maintain accurate records of communications and payments.
- Work with clients to develop solutions for their debt situations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in finance or collections is a plus.
- Proven experience in collections, sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in using computers and debt collection software.
