The Vendor and Maintenance/Repair Coordinator is responsible in keeping up with the planned maintenance and repairs for all the rolling equipment and facility/infrastructure. This includes forklifts, mule trucks, golf carts, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize tasks based on importance
- Keep up with the preventative maintenance schedule for all the forklifts, mule trucks, and
reach trucks on site and schedule with contractor
- Make POs in a timely manner and send to appropriate person
- Work along side the parts room coordinator and support them when needed
- Keep track of the tools and supplies the technicians use for jobs
- Keep an inventory count of janitorial supplies and keep the supplies in stock for our janitorial
team
- Plan work order requests and coordinate with forklift technicians to get the task completed as
quickly as possible
- Call contractors out to work on our packaging equipment and send POs for service as needed.
- Signing in contractors working on site and keeping up with the contractor vests
Requirements:
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills (affinity for numbers)
- Medium-high level of computer skills (for example advanced Excel knowledge)
- Hands-on mentality and be willing to help others in the department
- Have the patience to work under pressure
- Leadership skills and have a natural flare of authority when working with contractors
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the companies organization
- Ability to plan, execute and complete work with little to no supervision
- Employee must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds, use stairs, and stand for longer periods.
- 1-3 years relevant warehouse/maintenance/CSR experience, with a strong emphasis on industrial maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of electricity, mechanics, and pneumatics not required but a plus
- No felonies or misdemeanors within 10 years
