GIA Auto Detailing, a new company in North Houston Area, is seeking a motivated Senior Auto Detailing Technician to perform mobile detailing at clients' homes and businesses. If you have a passion for cars, an eye for detail, and strong work ethics, we want you on our team!
Type: Full-Time
Schedule and Compensation:40 hours per week; $17-19 per hour plus tips.
Location: Potential employees must commute daily to North Houston (77014).
Conditions: A fully equipped vehicle will be given to employees to perform mobile carwash and detailing jobs at clients' homes and businesses.
Responsibilities:
Interior Detailing:
Vacuum carpets, upholstery, and floor mats thoroughly
Clean and condition leather, vinyl, and plastic surfaces
Deodorize interiors to remove unpleasant odors
Clean and polish windows and glass
Exterior Detailing:
Wash vehicles by hand and using pressure washing equipment
Degrease wheels and wheel wells
Use polishing compounds to fix minor scratches
Hand-wax and buff the exterior for shine and protection
Clean and dress exterior trim
Dress tires for a polished appearance
Additional Responsibilities:
Complete daily reports
Visit existing and prospective clients
Train Junior Detailing Technicians
Order equipment and supplies
Assist Junior Detailing Technicians as needed
Oversee the health and safety of employees
Maintain company vehicles and drive cautiously
Keep tools and equipment in good condition
Keep the work area clean and organized
Complete other tasks as needed by the business
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean record
Minimum of 3 years of auto detailing experience
Fluent in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus
Strong work ethic and integrity
Proven leadership skills with experience supervising a team
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of detailing products and techniques
Experience with client relations (individual and commercial clients)
