This is a hybrid “BA/Trainer/Train-the-trainer” type of role… Do you strive to contribute to the success of others as well as the projects assigned to their team? NOTE: Travel! This position can involve 60-80% travel at any given time depending on the current projects in progress.
REQUIREMENTS: You need to have or know: • Prior experience training end users on business systems, preferably both one on one and in a classroom setting. • Ability to convey information clearly to users with limited technical knowledge and adapt your vocabulary and teaching style to your audience. • Excellent communication and presentation skills – everyone looks forward to seeing the creative and fun ways you can lead a group discussion or present a new topic (or even an old topic that is being revisited for the tenth time…) • A background or education in process improvement. • An ability to solve complex problems, communicate clearly, and share a sense of urgency. • The capacity to thrive in a small, flexible, and dynamic environment, contributing to a high performance, low-stress corporate culture. • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist the Business Systems Training Leader to develop effective training methods for existing and new business systems and processes. • Participate in and lead training regularly throughout the year in a small class environment and as needed with individuals. • Dig into the business processes and understand what we do and why we do it – then be willing to share everything you just learned! • Facilitate and participate in business system development and updates – help determine critical business requirements and work with development team to translate these into simple, smart system solutions. • Communicate project updates to Team Members at all levels of the company. Answer questions and solicit feedback. • Document business processes in a way that can be easily understood by Team Members. • Have enough technical expertise to talk with a developer and yet be able to explain a technical issue to an end-user without sounding like you are speaking a foreign language. • Develop ad hoc reports from system databases to support business process owners. • Motivate the Teams you are working with to meet mutually agreed upon but aggressive deadlines. • Travel!
