Job description:
We are looking for a music teacher who wants to work with children in a group setting. Students will range in age from 4 to 13 years old. Classes will have 8 - 12 students at a time. This position is to teach group lessons, to inspire kids to perform in a band format and get them ready for periodic concerts and performances.
Consistent candidate would be an allowed to have private classes after their school work. This would only commence after 2 months of probationary period to allow us to observe your focus and discipline towards the job.
Candidate is also required to drive our school vehicle to pickup students and bring them back to the school.
A strong understanding of music theory is required as well as the ability to play multiple instruments. Prior teaching experience is necessary.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
4 hour shift. After school. Monday to Friday: 2:30 - 6:00 pm
Teaching experience of 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Commute.
