Structural Project Engineer (EIT or PE Registration Required)
Job Purpose, Duties and Responsibilities
The role of the Structural Project Engineer is to implement a competitive, successful engineering strategy, dedicate to work on civil/structural infrastructures, to provide an efficient support for other team members and professionals to the growth of TLC. The purpose of TLC engineering team is to deliver its high-quality products on time, on budget, to meet client demands, and compliant with engineering specifications and industrial standards. To achieve this goal, the structural project engineer to be recruited shall play as a good team player and a leadership role in a squad or project team scope. All his/her work shall ensure that engineering specifications and client requirements are met, all design and submittals schedules are congregated. The Structural Project Engineer shall provide leadership in assigned scope of work as well as fundamental support to operations and business teams in the development of competitive proposals.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Be a safety role model; maintain safety awareness and zero accidents and injuries in all work performed.

● Work compliance with project requirements and specifications on all tasks in the assigned group and projects.
● Work on multiple projects in parallel toward on-time and on-budget based deliverables.
● Take full responsibility for assigned team tasks including but not limited to structural, civil, and utility disciplines.
● Provide accurate and timely reporting to discipline leaders and managers for outstanding problems or conflicts.
● Coordinate effectively with teams and discipline managers, aligned with other colleagues to work as a united team.
● Responsible for quality and assurance on tasks assigned to the group in all engineering consulting works.
● Provide feedback in a timely manner to the group colleagues, discipline managers in design coordination.
● Capitalize the lessons learned from previous project and individual experiences.
● Motivate to provide suggestions and recommendations in technical and organization proficiency improvements.
● Efficiently manage design calculations, design change records, project documentations and design submittals.
● Assist in project developments by providing required calculations, suggestions to support proposals activities.
Required Qualifications
● BS in Engineering discipline, emphases on Structural or Civil discipline.
● 7+ years of experience with at least 3 years of civil/structural engineering consulting practices.
● Notable tracking record of engineering consulting experience to contribute deliverables on-time and within budget.
● Wide range of knowledge and experiences both in structural and civil disciplines.
● Demonstrates solid knowledge in structure and applied mechanics and high potential in problem solving in diverse
infrastructures such as buildings, plants, garages, auditoriums, bridges, retaining walls, culverts, tunnels and so on.
● Initiative and capable of solving engineering problems and challenges encountered on distinct types of projects.
● Familiarity with design specifications and industry standards, such as IBC, AASHTO, FEMA, OSHA, and so on.
● Proficiency in use of structural, civil, drainage, utility, and other related computer design programs in engineering.
● Solid knowledge in application of mathematics, engineering mechanics, and engineering materials.
● Proficiency in utilizing design drafting tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
● Trackable experience in design of steel, metal, concrete, prestressed/posttensioned concrete, and wood structures.
● Proficiency in application of office and documentation programs such as Microsoft Office, Mathcad and so on.
● Firsthand experience in leading a structural consulting squad and managing structural analysis and design projects.
● Willing to work on construction management and construction inspection in diverse projects of buildings, auditoriums,
industrial plants, bridges, culverts, retaining walls, water/wastewater facilities, tunnels, and other structures.
● Willing to work on civil design, as well as construction management and inspection in projects of land scaping,
pavement, roadway, street, hydraulic/hydrology, water/wastewater, drainage, flooding control, utility, pipeline and so on.
● Strong culture around safety, working targets, time control, schedule, and project deliverable process.
● Communicate clearly and effectively with the project team and management.
● Excellent communication skills in English language, verbal and written
