Physical Requirements
Ability to work in all kinds of weather and working conditions.
Physical ability to perform job duties including: walking long distances in brisk manner, standing for long periods, crouching, kneeling, reaching, climbing, digging with shovel, lifting heavy objects (manhole covers with pick or bar), carring heavy equipment, etc.
Responsibilities
Load and unload survey equipement onto survey truck every day.
show up on time 7:30 am every day unless work is cancelled due to rain or other reason.
Must work in a safe, efficient, and productive manner, and not delay surveying job progress.
Responsible for maintaining a good rapport with the general public and peers.
Qualifications
Min. 1-year surveying experience preferred. We are willing to train candidates with good attitude and qualities with experience working out doors.
Ability to run rod (level or prism rod) at designated points to assist in determining elevation and laying out stakes for map making, construction, land and other surveys.
A valid driver's license (Texas upon hire) and a good driving record.
Willing to submit to background check and/or drug testing.
