Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will conduct field evaluations on customer properties to assess soil conditions and water drainage, shoot grade, take measurements, and provide expert recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct on-site inspections and assessments.
-Collaborate with engineers, designers and compliance inspectors to implement solutions.
-Perform site evaluations and soil assessments for OSSF Engineering.
-Perform evaluations and grading requirements for Storm Water Engineering.
-Document findings and prepare reports for clients.
-Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings and recommendations.
-Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
-Valid OSSF Site Evaluator license preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate and cover the cost of education and licensing.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
-Willingness to travel as needed. NOTE: We do not work outside of the state of Texas and travel would be limited to one night in almost all cases, when needed.
-Valid driver’s license, with clean record, and reliable transportation to and from work.
