SOLAR SURVEYING, LLC, Texas Professional Land Surveyors located in West Houston Texas has the following Full Time Hourly Employment positions available. Typical TXDOT or Public Works Type Projects involve Control Surveys, Boundary, Route & ROW Acquisition, Topographic, Utility Line Surveys, Private Development Surveys, Construction Layout, etc. May have out-of-town work.
Land Survey Crew- PARTY CHIEF (4+ years’ experience) using electronic total stations, GPS, digital levels, electronic data collectors and Leica equipment and instruments, maintaining project records, taking measurements, and determining property boundaries, and following all safety protocols.
Applicants must have a valid Texas Driver License, with a clean driving record and need to pass drug/alcohol Pre-Employment screening. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience with computer-aided design tools, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
Applicant’s physical requirements: must be able to lift 50lbs, the ability to judge distances and see details like shapes and colors, the ability to move through challenging terrains.
