One of my client companies is seeking a Lead or Sr. Maintenance Tech position in the Houston, TX area. Hourly range will vary depending on experience plus relocation assistance. The ideal hourly rate is $35-40.00 and will depend on experience.
Note: The individual hired has the chance to be promoted to a Chief Engineer position in short order, which will depend on performance in the Lead or Sr. Maintenance Technician position.
Summary: Performs routine preventative maintenance and repairs on all production and building equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversees laundry maintenance functions.
Requisitions parts and supplies.
Performs all repairs and maintenance in a safe manner.
Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on machines and equipment and ensures other repairs and adjustments are made.
Maintains records on machine production and time lost due to machines being out of order.
Plans, assigns, and/or oversees the work of others.
Installing new equipment, diagnosing repairs, removing, and replacing defective parts. Troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
Performs related work as assigned.
Equipment and machinery to include:
Pneumatics, conveyor systems, electric motors, laundry equipment, PLC repair/replacement, boiler, pumps, hydraulics, chain driven devices, etc.
Preferred: 3rd Class Stationary Engineer's License - if not, my client will help you obtain the license in short order.
Must be able to pass a physical and lift in excess 50 lbs.
