Seeking a licensed RME-G Inspector who is current with the Texas Department of Insurance SFMO. The preferred candidate will accompany the Project Manager on site, draw drawings & sign off on drawings and perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance test. Travel will be required.
JOB DUTIES
Design fire sprinkler systems 13, 13r & 13d type systems per NFPA
Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes with working knowledge of sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices and critical components.
Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the inspection ( heat and smoke detector kit, backflow kit, and pump equipment )
Plan, coordinate, and complete inspections as scheduled in a timely manner.
Required to be in an on-call status as required by location to handle emergency service and inspection requests
REQUIRED
HS Diploma or equivalent required. NICET 4 and/or state required certification based on location.
Texas Department of Insurance License (ex. RME-G)
Experience designing 13R & 13D type facilities
Minimum 1 years experience conducting inspections of fire sprinkler/alarm systems
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
