Food preparation: Chops, cuts, mixes, and prepares sauces. Cooks food using a variety of methods, such as grilling, frying, and sautéing.
Food safety: Follows food handling and sanitation procedures, and ensures food is stored correctly. Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Inventory: Stocks food items and other supplies, and performs inventory checks.
Customer service: Communicates with wait staff and makes adjustments to recipes based on customer requests.
Teamwork: Collaborates with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation, and works well with coworkers and customers.
Time management: Prepares food and serves it in a timely manner.
Physical requirements: Must be able to walk or stand for long periods, and push, pull, or lift up to 30 pounds.
