C1 Staffing is now hiring a dependable and hardworking Dishroom Lead to join our team in Houston, Texas! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining a clean, organized environment and supporting kitchen operations behind the scenes.
Position Summary:
The Dishroom Lead is responsible for providing a clean and safe kitchen area for all employees. This role includes washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, as well as keeping the dishroom organized and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness of the dishroom and ensure all work areas meet safety standards
Organize dish storage and equipment to maintain efficient workflow
Assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout kitchen and service areas
Monitor dishwashing machines and report maintenance or supply needs
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
Support kitchen team as needed during peak periods
Requirements:
Previous dishwashing or kitchen cleaning experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean workspace
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Leadership experience or ability to guide others a plus
