We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our Hoot's Smokehouse team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. A few key things you will be responsible for:
Process transactions: using a cash register and other point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service: by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
Handle cash and credit card payments: accurately, making change, and issuing receipts.
Manage and reconcile cash drawer: at the end of each shift.
Assist with stocking and cleaning: as needed to maintain a tidy work area.
Promote products and services: to increase sales.
Maintain a positive attitude: in a fast-paced environment
