Have experience making pizzas, please see below! No Experience? No problemon the job training. Learn to make 3 styles of pizza: New York, Napoletana (wood fired), Detroit.
Part Time & Full time positions available. Hourly pay + Tips.
Mid day & Evening shifts available.
Midday: 2-8 pm, Evening: 4-10 pm (11 pm on Fri-Sat)
Job Description: pizza makers are responsible for making pizzas accurately per menu and company standards, keeping their stations clean and sanitary before, during and after shifts and upholding health and safety codes per Houston Health Department. Maintain a fully stocked line of ingredients to ensure pizzas can be completed in a timely manner. Will be required to work with a team of other pizza makers (up to 4). All pizza makers are required to have a Food Handlers certificate within 2 weeks of hire.
Pizza Makers will be designated areas as their primary focus for training and maintenance, cross training may be available in many cases once training is completed; training is generally 2 weeks (based on how quickly the information is retained). Who are we?
We are Pizaro's Pizza, Houston's BEST pizzeria. We have been voted a favorite in the city since 2011. We make pizza REALLY well, that's why we don't offer a huge menu of items. Just pizzas and salads. Ingredients are made fresh in house daily, we also import ingredients such as our 00 flour, San Marzano style tomatoes and all of our prosciuttos.
We are not a regular pizzeria, we are a specialty pizzeria who's changed everything about pizza in this city: first to bring true, traditional Napoletana and Detroit. We are also the only pizzeria to offer multiple styles in one place.
Ideal Candidate:
