Hongdae 33 Korean BBQ is hiring a Restaurant Manager, who has at least one consecutive years of Restaurant Management experience working in a fast-paced, high service level restaurant and is knowledgeable about wine/proper wine service as well as craft cocktail making/service.
Responsibilities include:
Customer relations-you must be comfortable going table to table talking with guests
Staff development: Assisting other Managers with staff hiring, training, performance management, proper
documentation, coaching, and scheduling
Floor supervision
Ensure proper cash handling and financial reconciliation
Keeping labor cost in line with budget
Maintenance of all operational standards
Assisting other Managers and staff as needed with expediting, food running, bussing
Working closely with the other Managers and the Chef to assist in overseeing both front and back of the house
Requirements:
1 + consecutive years of Restaurant Management
College degree or culinary school degree preferred
Progressive food and fine wine knowledge
Craft cocktail making/serving knowledge
Excellent communication skills: which include oral, written, and active listening
Work a 5-day work week with a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time; lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
