Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to execute dishes during service.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing deliveries.
- Contribute to menu development and specials as needed.
- Adhere to kitchen policies, procedures, and schedules.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience as a line cook or in a similar role (culinary school graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for the culinary arts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a scratch kitchen or fine dining environment.
- Knowledge of diverse cuisines and cooking styles.
