Seoulside Wings in Houston, TX is looking for a part time Production/Fry Cook to help prepare food for our Food Truck! We are located at Address: 1403 Nance St, Houston, TX 77002.Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, reliable, and upholds all sanitary guidelines as well as follow directions/recipes accurately in a timely manner.Responsibilities Follow recipes and procedures accurately and ensure safe handling and cooking of food in line with food regulations. Regular maintenance and deep cleaning of equipment and utensils used. Follow daily setup and break down routines Maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items. Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules and dishwashing/pot washing as needed. Coordinate with other team members to complete prep in time. Maintains an organized and clean kitchen and back stock shelves. Qualifications Knowledge of equipment used (fryers, hoods, and burners) including disposing of oil, set up and break down of fryers, and deep cleaning fryers. Ability to communicate and listen effectively Food handling certifications apply. Previous experience in a cook position a plus Knowledge of safety procedures, including safe temperatures at which ingredients must be kept and to which food must be prepared to avoid foodborne illness Ability to stand in one place for hours at a time, handle heat, and lift heavy items.
