Hiring Compassionate Caregiver for a Wonderful Senior in Sugar Land!
About the client: We're seeking a kind and dependable caregiver to support a vibrant 70-year-old woman in her home with an early onset of dementia. She enjoys shopping, watching tv, witty conversation, discussing the latest news and trends, and has a great sense of humor.
The role:
o Assist with morning and/or evening routines (bathing, dressing, grooming).
o Prepare light meals and snacks.
o Organize medications and provide medication reminders.
o Offer companionship and engaging conversation.
o Light housekeeping and tidying up.
o Occasional day trips to Ross/Marshalls, Nail Shop, etc.
o Assisted walking trips around the neighborhood to provide light exercise
Ideal candidate:
o Active Female over 50 years of age
o Kind and patient: You genuinely care about the well-being of others.
o Reliable and punctual: You have a strong work ethic and can be counted on to show up on time.
o Experienced: Prior experience in senior or in-home care is a plus.
o Strong communication skills: You are a good listener and can communicate effectively with both the client and family. MUST SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH
Schedule:
o Part-time, with flexible hours available. Specific days/times can be discussed.
