Join UC Irvine’s HIV Care Engagement Study!
The UC Irvine HIV Care Engagement study is asking for your participation in this research study to help us test our recruitment strategies. The results of the research may benefit society by potentially leading to better recruitment methods for public health studies and better targeting of public health communications.
The research procedure involves the following:
1. Fill out online questionnaires (approximately 30 minutes) about your demographic information, health and HIV care engagement. They will be completed at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months.
2. Download our app and leave the application on in the background for one year. The app is compatible for both iPhone and Android. After completion of the year, users will be notified that the study is over and they can delete the app from their phone.
Eligibility: Over 18 years old, African American or Latino, diagnosed with HIV, out of care or not taking ART. Located in Houston.
Compensation: Up to $320.
