Job Summary:
Sugarland Dietitian is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Medical Assistant / Personal Assistant to provide support in hospital and clinical settings. The ideal candidate will assist with patient communication, follow-ups, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflow. This role requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive patient interactions with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Communication & Coordination:
Contact patients and families to obtain necessary consents and signatures.
Follow up with patients regarding appointments, test results, and treatment plans.
Schedule and confirm patient visits, ensuring smooth coordination with hospital and clinic staff.
Serve as a liaison between Sugarland Dietitian, patients, and healthcare providers.
Administrative Support:
Manage and organize calls, messages, and appointments for Sugarland Dietitian.
Maintain accurate patient records and follow-up logs.
Assist in preparing and submitting medical forms, consents, and documentation.
Ensure timely communication and follow-ups on pending tasks.
General Assistance:
Accompany Sugarland Dietitian to hospitals and clinical visits to assist with administrative tasks.
Facilitate communication with hospital staff, scheduling teams, and external providers.
Handle urgent patient inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle patient and family interactions.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
Must know English (written and spoken).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role preferred.
Availability to work flexible hours, including hospital rounds and clinical visits.
