Hiring Full-time Nurse Practitioner with Rheumatology Experience
We are a small outpatient practice located in Memorial City Area, right behind Memorial Hermann Hospital. Currently the practice runs with one board certified Rheumatologist, Dr. Alexandra Gonzalez-Fuentes.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in rheumatology to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with rheumatic diseases and will play a crucial role in managing day to day rheumatology cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with rheumatic diseases, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices- supervised by physician.
Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Stay current with advancements in rheumatology through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in rheumatology or related field preferred.
Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of rheumatic diseases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
