Job Description
ConvergePoint (www.convergepoint.com) is currently looking for a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. Based in Houston, TX, we are a small fast growing software company offering a flexible, casual work environment with excellent compensation and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing - Find quality candidates (Sales/Marketing/Customer Support/IT roles) through phone calls and uncover talent through various scouring channels including internet job boards, social media, campus activities, and referrals.
- Screening - Conduct over-the-phone and in-person interviews to qualify candidates and gain a greater understanding of their previous experience.
- Hiring - Extend and negotiates offers
- Onboarding - Help with the candidate onboarding process
Desired Skills and Experience
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Must have 2 - 4 years' experience in recruiting /talent acquisition, with demonstrated success.
- Must have experience working in the Computer Software or the Information Technology sector.
- Must have experience hiring for Sales, Marketing and Customer Support roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be local to Houston, TX or be willing to relocate here.
