Body Shop Detailer/Porter – Full-Time
Veterans Collision Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Body Shop Detailer/Porter to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for both detailing repaired vehicles and supporting day-to-day operations by moving and transporting vehicles safely and efficiently.
Job Overview:
As a Detailer/Porter, you will ensure all repaired vehicles are cleaned inside and out, ready for customer delivery. You will help manage the flow of vehicles in and out of the shop, support technicians, and assist with customer service tasks when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Detailing Duties:
Wash and wax vehicles, including applying tire and wheel dressing
Vacuum interiors and trunk areas
Clean all glass surfaces thoroughly, inside and out
Inspect and clean engine compartments
Porter Duties:
Park and retrieve vehicles in designated areas
Maintain a clean and organized service drive
Assist in moving non-running or damaged vehicles around the shop
Transport vehicles to clients or offsite service providers
Check and adjust tire air pressure
Support technicians with light shop tasks as needed
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Reliable and punctual
