IDS Express Car Wash is seeking a reliable and skilled Car Wash Maintenance General Manager to join our team and support tunnel, equipment maintenance and day to day operations. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems related to the car wash equipment.
Duties:
The Maintenance General Manager will be working on site at the car wash, greeting and interacting with customers, as well as leading a team by example while maintaining all equipment and tunnel mechanics
Maintenance General Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining customer service, overseeing the daily operations of a location, and ensuring maximum sales through world class customer service and providing a high-quality customer experience

The Maintenance General Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our car wash equipment as well as performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on car wash systems, including pumps motors, conveyors, air compressors, and water reclaim systems.
Must be able to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Must monitor and maintain chemical delivery systems and ensure correct calibration.
Maintain records of all repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
Ensure location is operating efficiently and safely with minimal to no downtime.
Assist with general facility upkeep, including lighting, plumbing, variety electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic tasks as well as grounds maintenance.
Must always be able to respond to emergency maintenance requests and be available for occasional after-hours work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on quality and safety standards.
Perform preventative maintenance to minimize possible machine failure
Install tunnel car wash equipment as well replacing or adding new components or parts
Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on car wash equipment to ensure proper functionality
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, making timely repairs to minimize downtime
Conduct regular inspections of the facility, addressing any maintenance needs
Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services
Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities
Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
Provide regular reports on equipment and facility status

Qualifications:
Strong technical skills and knowledge of maintenance principles
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Proven experience in maintenance roles, preferably in a similar industry
The Maintenance Technician position may require physical exertion, including lifting, carrying equipment, and performing hands-on maintenance tasks
