Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with HHFH’s policies and vision
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Assist as needed with the following personnel: Construction Director, Project Manager, Superintendent, and House Leaders
Produce reports and statistics regularly for Alarm Batteries.
Control and manage inventory in warehouse and jobsite.
Provide safety and construction training to volunteer crews
Ensure safety standards are followed by staff and volunteers
Operate trucks of various sizes and weights in the loading, hauling, and unloading of various equipment, materials and supplies
Operate construction and/or power equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Inspect condition and perform general maintenance of machinery and equipment used in the warehouse
Enforce all company rules and regulations
Communicate with Project Manager, Superintendent, and House Leads to ensure efficient delivery of material and products to jobsites.
Manage service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly.
Uphold HHFH’s organizational values and ethics
Performs all other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required or equivalent experience
2+ years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory role
Must possess valid and appropriate driver’s license
Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work with all levels of staff
