The Pickup and Delivery Driver transports goods and products safely and efficiently to their designated destinations, ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive work environment. This mission encompasses operating and maintaining the assigned vehicle, loading, and unloading cargo with care and attention to security, and maintaining open and professional communication with customers, dispatch personnel, and team members.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate and maintain the assigned vehicle, including routine checks of tire pressure, fluid levels, and general vehicle condition.
Pick up and deliver various goods, packages, or products to designated locations within specified timeframes.
Carefully load and unloadscargo, ensuring it is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
Interacts professionally with customers at pickup and delivery points, providing excellent service, answering questions, and obtaining signatures or proof of delivery.
Completes delivery manifests, logs, and any required paperwork accurately. Submits them promptly to the appropriate personnel.
Maintains effective communication with dispatch or scheduling personnel to provide updates on progress, delays, or any issues encountered during deliveries.
Addresses any unexpected delivery challenges or issues, such as damaged goods or incorrect addresses, with a solutions-oriented approach.
Collaborates with colleagues, supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment.
Attends regular safety training sessions and participates in safety meetings to enhance knowledge and promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
There are no certifications or licenses required for this position.
1 year of experience in delivery driving is preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
