Position Overview:
As an Entry-Level Project Coordinator, you’ll support our project managers and construction teams in the day-to-day management of ongoing projects. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the construction process, work on a variety of exciting projects, and gain hands-on experience in the commercial construction industry. Key Responsibilities:
Assist project managers with project scheduling, tracking timelines, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Support in the preparation and management of project documentation such as contracts, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, and submittals.
Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to keep everyone informed and on track.
Help monitor the progress of construction projects and report any delays or issues to the project manager.
Assist with maintaining and organizing project files, ensuring all documents are up to date and accessible.
Attend project meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items as needed.
Track and assist with the procurement of materials and equipment for projects.
Assist in maintaining safety compliance on job sites and help with required inspections or permits.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus but not required.
Strong interest in construction, project management, and building a career in the industry.
Basic knowledge of construction terminology and processes is helpful but not required.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) - ARE A MUST!
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
