Position Description

The Company is an international producer and supplier of corrosion resistant glass-fiber reinforced pipe (GRP) systems. We are the headquartered in north of Houston, Texas and the company has enjoyed a successful track record of growth for more than 35 years. The company enjoys a proven reputation for quality and customer service, providing their glass-fiber reinforced pipe (GRP) systems, to clients around the globe.

The Opportunity

Position: Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other Duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Responsible for overseeing all facility building maintenance for our corporate headquarters and manufacturing operation. This includes troubleshooting and coordinating repairs for all HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and office electrical systems.

2. Responds to requests for repair and conducts routine inspections to identify where maintenance is required.

3. Manage the company vehicle fleet by coordinating usage requests and maintaining routine maintenance/cleaning.

4. Supervise the janitorial/facility cleaning crew by setting schedules.

5. Manage the landscaping contractors to maintain all trees, grass, and sprinkler systems.

6. Manage the assembly and movement of furniture including interoffice moves and setup for special events (tours).

7. Completes records and reports as required.

8. Respond immediately to emergency maintenance requests in the building.

9. Ability to prepare progress reports/status updates and effectively communicate to operational leaders, written and oral.

10. Responsible for ensuring that the facilities maintenance staff is always providing excellence in customer service to all internal and external customers.

11. Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance department staff follow safety procedures established to avoid injuries to self and others such as lock-out devices, protective clothing, and waste disposal techniques.

12. Ensures all policies and procedures are enforced.

Location: Houston, Texas

Details & Compensation:

Compensation: $17.50 - $28.00/HR depending on experience.

Merit raise consideration to take place after 6-Months

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

1. Facility or property maintenance experience is required

2. A valid Texas Driver’s License to manage the company vehicle fleet

3. Bilingual preferred; at a minimum, the ability to understand and to make one’s self understood to all Spanish speaking individuals
