A year-round, part time, contract labor position for a Grounds Keeper to manage a 5 acre grounds of a private residence located in Cypress, Texas (northwest Houston). Job requires that all landscaping, trees, pond, water features, sprinkler heads, fence, and gates be maintained and kept in a state of good condition. Grounds Keeper needs to be capable of performing light carpentry and other minor maintenance tasks. Approximately 8-15 hours per week or however many hours it takes to complete the necessary tasks. Flexible work times and weather permitting.
Qualifications
Basic landscaping maintenance and minor tree pruning experience.
Basic sprinkler head repair and maintenance.
Able to perform basic carpentry and minor equipment repairs.
An enjoyment of outdoor work in all seasons.
Good work ethic with the ability to work without supervision.
Have transportation to and from work location
