Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual to fulfill the role of Household and Office Cleaner. This position entails maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in both our household and office environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow a pre-set schedule while also identifying additional work needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Household Duties:

- Perform general housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, making beds, cleaning dishes, cleaning surfaces, and taking out trash. (Have bi-weekly maid / deep cleaner already on staff)

- Laundry duties including washing, occasional ironing, folding, organizing and putting away clothes for children and adults and linens.

- Run errands for the employer & spouse, such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, Target, HEB, Kroger curbside, and other miscellaneous tasks.

- Keep household areas tidy and organized from the chaos of 3 young children.

2. Office Duties:

- Clean office spaces including desks, windows, kitchen, shelves, display cases, restrooms, and common areas.

- Mop all floors and clean door mats as needed to ensure a clean appearance at all times.

- Ensure office facilities are well-maintained and stocked with necessary supplies.

- Assist with setting up and cleaning up after meetings and events.

- Assist with cooking lunches or late afternoon snacks in office kitchen / prep areas.

- Complete inventory for stocking breakroom and kitchen and assist with ordering via Costco Business and HEB

3. General Responsibilities:

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of responsibility.

- Perform occasional minor repairs or maintenance tasks as needed. Report to Operations Manger or Shop Porter any items that need repair or attention that you are not able to perform.

- Communicate effectively with employers to understand their preferences and requirements.

- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role is preferred.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and efficiently.

- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

- Reliable transportation

- Basic cooking skills are a plus.

Working Hours:

Approximately 1/3 of the day will be dedicated to household duties, while the remaining time will be spent at the nearby office location. Flexibility may be required to accommodate occasional evening or weekend tasks. This is a full time, hourly job that is paid weekly. All applicants are subject to an extensive background check and pre employment drug screening. Hours can be flexible for the right candidate but this must be a full time job based on the needs of the employer.
