HYBRID HOTSHOT DELIVERY DRIVER
Hallmark Home Furnishings is looking to bring on one delivery driver to assist in single-item deliveries and pickups. The majority of all deliveries and pickups will be sectional couches, new-in-box or premium preowned. This is not ad for traditional employment. This is an on-call independent contractor position with consistent work provided.
DELIVERY DRIVER PAY STRUCTURE
- Daily payouts for procurement, pickup, deliveries, and assists
- Payouts based on total local one-way distance, not time
- +$50-$100 per furniture assembly (if applicable) in addition to delivery pay
- Fuel Expense Compensation
- Potential to make a few hundred in one day with minimal hours worked — the perfect “side hustle”

PREREQUISITES
- Must own a truck or van with the capacity to fit large sectional couches that you are okay with utilizing for pickups and deliveries. Understanding how to use straps and tie-downs is also helpful, but not necessary, as we can train. Please do not apply if you do not own your own vehicle or trailer that can be used for deliveries. This is the position.
- Must understand you will be lifting couches, and sometimes other furniture items, often up stairs or in elevators. This will be a large part of the job scope.
- Must have a basic understanding of how to assemble new furniture by following instructions. You will be paid additional for all assemblies performed.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance for all deliveries (pickups are more casual).
- Must be fluent in the English language.
- Must be available to be on-call a minimum of 2 weekends a month (Saturday and Sundays).

NOTE: Hallmark Home Furnishings is not a storefront. This business acts as a licensed broker between certain furniture brands and is constantly scaling its reach on more sources. The majority of sales occur through online transactions rather than in person. The candidate chosen will specifically be an individual to assist in pre-owned inventory procurement, pickups, deliveries, and assemblies. This is an independent contractor 1099 position.
