A company located in Webster, TX is looking to add a skilled individual to their team as a Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Clerk will play a crucial role in managing and tracking inventory, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials to support the production teams, along with managing incoming and outgoing shipments. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and supplies, ensuring they meet quality and quantity requirements.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in the management of stock levels.
· Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including packaging and labeling materials for outbound shipments.
· Support the engineering team by pulling required materials for ongoing projects from stock.
· Maintain a clean, organized storage area and ensure the materials are properly stored and handled.
· Perform periodic inventory audits and assist with reporting any discrepancies.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Shipping/Receiving experience (Bill of lading, Picking and Packing.)
· Forklift experience is a plus.
· Must be computer literate. (MS Excel, Word, etc.)
· Basic knowledge of ERP Software or inventory management systems.
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· 1-2 years of experience in materials handling, inventory management, or a related field.
